ARMHS

ARMHS assists adults who currently have medical assistance and a diagnosis of mental health illness. With specialized training and experience, ARMHS workers provide clients the knowledge and skills to become their own advocate and achieve the greatest amount of independence. Clients are given realistic goals, plans to achieve those goals, and methods for accomplishing those goals. With the help of an ARMHS provider, clients learn to become independent and live happier, healthier lives. We guide them towards making sound decisions to take control of their emotions, to deal with daily challenges and lead better lives in general.

We work to build a behavioral health system that will give our clients the opportunity to receive effective treatments for mental health.
To be eligible for ARMHS, members must meet all of the following criteria:
  • Be 18 years old or older
  • Have a primary diagnosis of a serious mental illness as determined by a Diagnostic Assessment
  • Have a completed LOCUS assessment that indicates a Level 3 or Level 2
  • Have a significant impairment in functioning in three or more areas of the Functional Assessment domains specified in statute.

Individual Therepy

Individual therapy services offered through Inova care services are designed to promote mindfulness, healthy relationships, and improve the overall well-being of our clients. Individual therapy supports progress in our various programs or is offered as a stand-alone service. Therapy is available from a variety of evidence-based orientations including:

  • Cognitive-behavioral therapy(CBT)
  • Humanistic and interpersonal approaches
  • Covered by all major insurance carriers

Our number one goal in therapy is to create a space where you feel safe to examine and navigate through what is happening internally and externally in your world.

Community Therapy

Inova care services will provide services in a variety of locations, including in the client’s home, at school, or in community setting to help clients to reach their specific goals. We help client expand their inner strengths and skills to work towards improved emotional health and well-being. We use a person-centered approach in the delivery of services.

Housing Services

Housing Stabilization Services:

We provide housing services and support to help, families, older adults with disabilities to live healthier and more satisfying lives.

If you are disabled, have mental illness, substance use disorder, you a senior citizen, and have Minnesota Medical Assistance (MA) or related assistance, Inova care services can help you find and sustain housing.
Housing Consultations
These are services that assist a person in developing a housing focused person-centered plan, assist the person to access needed state plan services that support housing stability and provide referrals or information about to other needed services.
Housing Transition
Inova care services will assist a person to plan for, find and move to a home in the community.
Housing Sustaining
These are services that support a person to maintain living in their home in the community.
